Cell Phone/WI-FI Booster
Have any of you had experience with cell phone/wi-fi signal boosters, and if you have would you be willing to share your experiences?
1. Do they work and if they do is the difference significant?
2. What kind did you get?
3. Assuming that the booster involves an antenna, where did you mount it?
On a related note, for those of you who need/want lots of data have you seen the following at Mobile Internet for RVers News Center – RV Mobile Internet Resource Center
Thanks for your help.
Regards,

I use the Wilson with a small stubby antenna. in my RV and Truck - works very well in the boonies were cell towers can be few and far between.

Hi guys... we use the Wilson sleek too. We only get it out when needed. Currently in a spot where signal is 3g 1/2 bar. In the cradle it is 4g and 4bars!! Antenna is just sitting on the dash. It will not produce a signal of course, but if you have even a hint of signal it is a BIDG help.
Hope the view is still great.

About a month ago I bought the Wilson Electronics DB Pro 4G. I also bought a hitch mount flag pole holder. Got the 22 ft extendable flag pole and mounted it there. Had a coax cable run through engine compartment into MH. From there you plug in unit the mount a small inside antennae that gives you a good signal about 6 foot around. Took 1-2 bars to 4-5 bars. I use it for data also through my hot spot.
