I chose to ceramic coat just the front of our coach. I had from the bottom to the top of the front cap and the windshield coated. The company I used only does CeramicPro. Very pleased with the results. Cost was $1K Canadian or $680 US$. This included replacing some of the damaged 3M with Xpel.

Spray on - wipe off and polish. Is this incorrect?

Hi John, Yes you can DYI. The key is to have a clean painted surface, not a wash job but free of contaminants in and on the paint. To do that rubbing it out with a buffer, clay bar, or other processes. Applying the DYI is like using a quick detailer product. Spray on the nano-ceramic coating on the surface use MF towels to wipe. Great stuff, did all my cars. going to be doing my painted Travel Supreme DP during my winter in FL. video link...

Ceramic coating
I am going to have ceramic coating put on my coach, the question that I have regarding this product, would it be beneficial to have it applied to the roof?

I wouldn't. The product is so slippery that not much will stick to it, including your annual roof sealant.

I know a company that does ceramic coating on RV's, 90.00 a foot with no major work (i.e. oxidation etc.) $95.00 otherwise.
This is the company that I will be using to have ceramic coating on my coach. I am really looking forward to it. He even installed a 50 amp service in his hangar to accommodate RV's.
I can take a picture before and after if anyone would be interested.

well, I had the ceramic coating put on my coach, I was surprised as to how many scratches were on this coach, not sure what the previous owner used to wash this coach, but it appears to have been a brush.
All the scratches are gone and this 2014 looks brand-new.

I sure would like to have this done as well but at $4K - $5K it is way down the list. After a new WiFi system, new tires, etc. But you guys who are getting it done are making me envious....
