Changing Direct Winegard Traveler to Dish

It appears that unlike Newmar the Entegra only offers the Traveler for Direct TV.

What is involved in changing this over to Dish Network on a new 2017 unit?

I posted a thread in 2014 about that. Winegard sells a conversion kit for about $300. You can do it yourself if you are handy with tools. PM me if you want the blow by blow.

Jim, did Entegra change the choices of the Traveler again? They did have the choice of Direct, Dish or Shaw for awhile.

Dave, hogdriver did a nice post a couple of years ago about changing his from Direct to Dish. There is a kit that can be purchased from Winegard for a little over $300.

He beat me to it and is the expert in the change over.

Mine came with direct but Woo at NIRVC changed it to Dish and they even had all in stock and reprogrammed the control box..Works sweet.
