Changing Dish receivers

We got our "new to us" 2016 Entegra Anthem 44B in Dec 2018. Had our Non-DVR Dish receiver installed by NIRVC when we picked up the coach. I'm upgrading to a current Duel Dish receiver with DVR next week. I'm concerned about the Dish tech being able to link the new Dish receiver to the Vega touch Ipad in our coach. We always used the ipad and never used the idividual remotes. Has anyone done this yet? If so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Do you have a model number for the new duel tuner DVR?

Firefly uses a ir emitter to talk to the receiver. So try not to break it when you remove it from the old one. It is put on with clear dbl stick tape. I am surprised that you are changing receivers as most of them have USB ports and you plug in a portable USB drive and have dish enable the DVR setting.
