Changing to TST color display

My TST color display came in today. A couple days ago an agent on the phone told me to just take the display to each tire to program the sensors (pulling one of the duals for proximity). The instructions indicate it is better to learn them before they are screwed onto the tires. I know a couple people have upgraded their displays, which way did you go?

NOTE: The reason I called TST was to ask about upgrading sensors. The agent said the issues I am having could be resolved rather than buy 12 new sensors. He could have said new sensors would work better and made a $600 sale but didn’t, suggested I try my 6-year old sensors first. Accolades to TST! (I did replace all my batteries already)

I programmed mine at the kitchen table. Much easier to be sitting rather than going through the motions kneeling at each tire. Just make sure that you have them identified correctly.

I had my sensors off and did them at the table, it was easier, and no bending over to program them. I take my sensors off in the fall when I winterize it. So it made it simple.

I got rid of the anti-theft housings when I got the system 3 1/2 years ago, so it was easy to take each one off as I walked around the coach and programmed the color monitor last year.

As others have said take them off to program them. Colour monitor is touchy on getting the proper viewing height and angle for the brightest display, experiment a little with the mounting location.
