Chasis Air Conditioner Drain

I wasn’t sure how to title this one. I had the generator compartment open and noticed the air is draining directly out of the hole pictured onto the generator and surrounding wires, frame, etc. It seems there should be a hose attached to direct drainage past all of that. Has anyone else done anything with this?

You can install one. Early on, even with a drain hose, there was a lot of excess water falling directly on the generator causing some electrical issues. So they added the large drain plate that directs the water over to the side. When they did that, for a while they thought they wouldn’t need the additional drain hose. I think because of people asking why no drain hose, they added it back.
