My wife and I were just talking about getting a new Entegra. I sure hope they keep building good ones but with folks leaving.......I know the current ones are good.

I was just at the factory during the Elkhart Open House and viewed the new coaches on display at the exhibit. I have to say that QC was top notch. The product in various stages of construction looked as good as ever. One thing in particular i noticed. As the coaches go through the various inspection stages as they are built, any issues such as missing or damaged items or flaws are noted, logged and marked with green tape. In final fit and finish these coaches get everything corrected before being sent for final QC approval. The coaches I saw had less on than usual. Either they are getting better at QC or else they are running out of green tape because they guy that buys the green tape has left too.

But, based on the finished product I saw I'm betting it's the former, not the latter.

Interesting observation, same as mine when they hired Tad. What would a dealership need a person who was the President of a highly respected quality coach manufacturer, then hire their national sales manager? These are the kind of people you need to run a manufacturing and distribution operation. Davis is a money guy, a promoter. A dealer does not need this kind of horsepower to be successful (manager in Arizona for instance). Look for a buy out in the future. To sweeten the pot, it would also be a good way to get rid of Jayco vs. NIRV without spending a mountain of money.

Lots of things changed since Thor, despite promises made at Big Sky. PDI was pleasant but some issues not resolved. When we went back to get the things fixed they did not fix or that did not stay fixed, not so much! Too many chiefs and not enough Indians in the customer service chain now!
