Classic Anthem Replacement Steps Help

Good day everyone!

I have a 2012 Anthem and the ol steps are done. Last season I replaced the motor which was almost impossible to find, but this year the controller died and no replacements available. I had the issue where the steps would stay out no matter what the key position was, door switch or door open/closed. Ended up tracing it to a bad fuse, at least I was hoping, but when I replaced the fuse the steps would push out no matter what. The controller would not stop the motor at the end so it would keep "pushing" until the fuse blew again and again.

I am researching NEW steps to put on the coach and this is where I need your help! I cannot seem to find something that measures up the same to the originals (Brand unknown, not Lippert, that have the metal EC logo in the tread). I believe the Lippert Series 32 are the closest replacements but the treads are a little different measurements according to the data sheets. Has anyone replaced the entire step assembly on their classic? Could you share with me the make/model and a part number if you have it? I did look through the forum and all I could find were posts on those who went with the Cornerstone style and/or ones that just wasn't working.

Thank you so very much in advance!

Maybe you could find one on this page

Or try one of these salvage yards.

IIRC, Dave(DSL417) replaced his steps on his CS. I believe there was some modification needed to make them fit.

The original steps were Kwikee steps. That company was purchased by Lippert. The quality is not the same, but maybe the Lippert website or a call may help. https://support.lci1.com/kwikee-steps
I would prefer to keep the Kwikee steps and rebuilt if possible. eBay is sometimes good for finding original parts

I did not replace (tried, but the replacements (per Entegra and Lippert) are 3/8” too wide and WILL NOT fit in the Classis Cornerstones. That said, I thought the kwikee steps for Anthem were still available. BTW, kwikee still makes the steps. Not aware of any other company.

From what I have now compared to the original Kwekee, the quality is not the same. https://support.lci1.com/kwikee-steps If I step on my current steps while moving and they are slow, it will burn out a motor or controller.

The Kwekee steps on the Travel Supreme were fast and you could ride on them while they were retracting, not the new Lippert steps. Two motors have been replaced from stepping on them to soon, thankfully by shops and not me.

I still thank the original size for the Anthem are still available, just not the quality.
