Coach Net renewal and continuation

I just ran out of my 3 year free Coach-Net coverage that I got from Entegra when I purchased the coach..... BY the way, for you new coach owners, you get Coach-Net coverage from Entegra for three years.... I was paying for coverage and getting free factory coverage simultaneously for two years before I figured out that I was getting double coverage. So, pay attention owners who have new coaches....

Coachnet used to have three levels of cost... the lowest an owner could not buy because it was available only to manufacturers who could include it with a new coach purchase. The first level available to owners was the "standard" roadside service (basically towing coverage and maybe some technical service phone consultation). That level of service was never available to owners, only manufacturers, but it is still available to owners who are currently covered by the manufacturers level of coverage and the cost is $109 per year with a three year maximum length of renewal coverage. That is only available to those owners already covered with the standard level of services. If your standard coverage has expired, then the only level of service is Premium Level which in my opinion, included a whole bunch of service that I have already provided by other companies or that I simply don't need (~$250/year). There are a lot of services, but a careful examination of what is offered and supplied told me that I was paying for service that I didn't need.

So, I discovered that if I renewed by phone before my manufacturers standard coverage expired, I could renew it for three more yeas and could avoid the Premium service. So, if you, like me, have a Entegra less than 3 years old still covered by Entegras basic service, you can continue the service you have for a significant savings by calling and renewing for up to 3 years on the phone. Big difference in price. You guys owe me some scotch when we next meet on the road....

Wow 109 per year is a steal deal

Did they refund your double pay money?

No.... they stopped the year that was still just starting and refunded that money, but I paid for the first two years and they did not refund that money.

What happened is that I bought a new coach during the third year, and of course, I got a renewal for the first coach at the end of the third year. However, I had bought a new 2019 and thought that Entegra had given up on grub staking new owners to three years, so just started paying for the new service at at the $250/year level. Did that for two years and at the beginning of the third year, a thread on here said that Entegra was still grub staking new coach owners for 3 years and I realized that I had been a double member. Got the third year stopped and refunded but lot the first two years.

I extended mine just prior to the expiration of the Entegra version. I just renewed it again last month (standard) for $269.00 for 3 years.

If I was in your shoes and had some time I would escalate the matter while creating a nice folder full of all the documentation thereby getting a nice refund and service extension.. This double charging is not right at all and so should be cause for a full refund.
