Coach wash and detail - Phoenix AZ

Having my coach washed this morning by Brian Andrus of Andrus Auto Detail. Wash/waxes primarily high end buses like Prevosts, Entegras, etc. Brian learned from Andrew Steele. I’m sure some of you have used him in the past. Andrew has a YouTube channel and apparently keeps very busy with that. Brian pays fabulous attention to detail!! My Aspire looks brand new!

By the way, Brian did my job at I-10 RV Storage just down the road from the Love’s Truck Stop off the Sundust Rd exit off I-10.

PS - I’m in no way associated with Andrus just an extremely satisfied customer.

Andrew told me a great story regarding the first summer he went up to Spearfish/Sturgis. He set up shop at Elkhorn Ridge RV Resort in Spearfish. Plenty of business as the Sturgis motorcycle rally drew near, but he was having a hard time finding reliable employees.

One day he was bemoaning his fate to the RV park manager, explaining that the young people he was hiring would work a few days then quit, telling him that washing & waxing RV’s was “too hard.”

The park manager said, “Andrew, hire farm kids. They know how to work.”

Andrew took his advice and things went well from there. The farm kids thought washing & waxing RV’s was a walk in the park compared to what they were used to.

If there is even a 3% chance of rain the first day that you plan to drive your coach to another location after paying to have it done that nicely , DO NOT GO. If I have paid to have my coach beatifully washed by a commercial company, then I can guarantee that it will rain midway through my first day on the road..... a clean, beautiful coach is only a clean, beautiful coach if it doesnt move....

Lol.... agreed, and they say “ all you have to do is rinse it down with water and the shine will come back” BS..... obviously it can’t be hard water and even at that you got to go over every inch if it with a rag & it never likes like it did..., but that coach likes [emoji106] ✝️[emoji120]

Gary, if getting my coach washed brings rain here in AZ, I’ll be more than happy to take the chance.

I have already, in another thread up here right now, that I hope the Feds have built into their infrastructure funding the funds to construct a huge pipe line from the SouthEast to California and the West to carry water we dont need. I know that you guys have a serious water shortage but I can assure you that we have a huge water surplus here in Louisiana and most of the east coast and I would be happy to give you guys all you need to fill the dams with excess spring water here in Louisiana..... maybe we could redirect the Mississippi River due west from about Arkansas and send it your way.

We have gotten way way way more than we need in the past couple of months.

I have formed the same opinion about farm people after several years with a job traveling around to manufacturing plants all over the US. What a great work ethic these people have. Some of them worked the farm at night and the factory job during the day or vice versus.

High-end coaches like Prevosts and Entegras? Bit of a stretch!

IMHO considering what we pay for a new Entegra, I don’t consider them to be low end. I’m sorry you consider your Newmar to be low end. I don’t.

Love our Newmar! High-end details, such as the flat floor- no nasty carpeting on the slides. But it is definitely not a $2M++ coach! I consider those to be "high-end".

When you pay more for a coach than most people pay for their houses, I consider that 'high end'. Some are just more high end than others.
