2017 Anthem
65000 miles
No *known* issues. We bought the coach from original owner, and have put about 20,000 miles on it in last 18 months.
We did have an engine sensor failure (not a DEF sensor) at Elkhart last fall and while that was getting fixed at the Cummins shop they did a regen. I got the feeling it was sort of "preemptive" but not sure.
Use "Blue DEF" exclusively and (because of paranoia!) started testing it with a specific gravity tester a few months ago. Had a couple of boxes from Walmart that didn't seem like they were well sealed, but they tested ok.
DEF is probably a commodity item and all the same, but I feel better about getting the name brand for a few bucks more.

With as much information as I have gathered from 2017 to today there are over 5,000 diesel coaches that are effected by this DEF problem with check engine lights and DEF codes. A lot of motor homes that could and will be having problems in the next year or two unless some retro fit can be developed.

Year make and model in signature Nearly 15,000 miles and no problem. Two things, I fill DEF when reach half tank and never park more than a month unless fuel and DEF tank is full. If you don't moister can be drawn into both fuel and DEF tank.

2015 Aspire 46000 miles no DEF failures. But failed transmission, radiator, dash AC, slide motor mounts, toilet, wiper arm, shocks, microwave, and air leaks are some of the low lights of this coach. But I do have it running well now and keeping fingers crossed.

The EPA mandate went into effect in 2016. Many of the 2016 coaches were built on 2015 chassis which were not required to have the new DEF sensors. Any chassis built before 2015 will not have the DEF sensor problems.
2017 coaches with 2016 and newer chassis will have the new mandated DEF heads with the new sensors. However, there is a "chance" that Spartan may have been using old stock as well. They did on my 21 installing a Gen 5 DEF that had already been replaced with Gen 6's, but that is just speculation judging from my coach.

I am afraid to post this as well.
2017 Cornerstone with 36000 miles. 15000 from us in the last year with no issues. I have no records before last summer.
Keeping my fingers crossed and still would like a spare def head.
