Coalescing filter change

I just bought a coalescing filter since it is time that I change it. Has anybody done it on the 2014 Anthem RBQ model? Do I have to remove the floor from the back closet to get to the filter? How do I recognize it? Is there something written on the filter cover?

Mauro,

Remove the tiled floor hatch from the back bathroom not the closet hatch. On the very top of the engine you will see a red cover about 8” wide and 12” long. Remove this and the filter is underneath. Depending on how much vertical clearance you have the cover and filter may have to come out together.

Looks easy. Take a look at some u-tube videos.
You can now get a maintenance free crankcase filter. Has the check valve but no filter material.

The ISX coalescing filter is on the side of the engine, the ISL is on the top of the engine.

I am sorry, I am not at the MH right now, but I have never seen a hatch in the tiled floor in the bathroom. Where is it, and what does it look like? Thanks

Mauro,

If you have the factory carpet in the back bathroom it is under that. Two silver rings to pull up and turn 1/4 turn to unlock. Life the floor piece out from the front end as it slips slightly under the closet trim.

Mauro, be REALLY careful when removing the bolts around the outside of the filter cover. Dropping one of those puppies might be very inconvenient!
