cockpit entry carpet

does anyone have a source for cockpit carpet on a 2021 Entrgra Reatta 37K.
it would be great if the vendor actually had a template on hand.

What I've done to replace the entry area carpet is to search (Google) for a local carpet place that offers carpet binding. Take your carpet for the local carpet place to use as a template. Pick something from the carpet place remnants that complements your decor and have the carpet place cut and bind the carpet.

I've had good luck having that done. Most carpet places have lots of remnants that are big enough for your need.

One issue that's not difficult to solve is that most residential carpet isn't rubber backed, making it a slip hazard. Apply a liberal bead of silicone caulk to the back side and use a putty knife to spread the caulk into a 2" band near the edge and other areas near where you walk.

We've had good luck with that process. Lots of selections and reasonably priced. IIRC, the last time we paid about $200 for the entry area and a couple of other smaller, rectangular pieces.

Take care,
Stu

Wades RV, located at Lazy Days in Steffner FL. Their colors are very limited, but it’s a durable carpet. They also have carpet for the stairs.

Agreed. it is a good fit but the choice is very utilitarian carpet. WadeRV does a good job also

Wade RV's entry carpets are fantastic. They wear like iron. Mine is 9 years old and still looks like new. The one in my last coach was 10 years old when I sold the coach, and that one too still looked like new.

We looked at Wade's selection and didn't find anything that would satisfy my DW. That's when we went to a local carpet store, found a very diverse selection from remnants, including one that my DW liked. ~$200 and it was cut to perfectly match our original and bound. A tube of silicone caulk to make it non-skid and it's all good.

Take care,
Stu

made custom cockpit carpet for my motorhome from a template I made with non-slip AquaMat® AquaWeave® Evolution with AquaLoc® Black Pearl. He also made custom carpet for my powerboat sundeck and flybridge. He has lots of different indoor/outdoor material to choose from.

Here's a link to the Wade RV photo gallery: Gallery IIRC, the choice of carpet is either the brown or gray.

Take care,
Stu

We went with a low budget solution. Home Depot rubber mat. Made a newspaper template of the floor, then used heavy scissors to cut the mat. No slip, easy to clean.

Shaw Succession II

Passing along this info posted by another forum member back in 2013. He recommended the Succession II commercial product made by Shaw.

Ordered some for our first Entegra (2013) from a carpet dealer and cut it to shape using the factory rug as a template. Used left overs to make pieces for other areas including the rear bath, entry steps and an outside mat.

No binding is needed and it is heavily rubber backed and does not slip. The cut edges do not fray. That same carpet from 2013 was moved to our now current Entegra in 2017 and is still in use today.

It lays flat, is hard wearing and can be taken outside and hosed down if needed. Only downside is color selection is limited. Current cost appears to be about $5 ft².

Color I beleive is "Sierra Sand" as shown in photo: https://photos.app.goo.gl/ecUvqeTpLviPiiZT8

I bought a 5 x 5 Carpet on overstock.com and using the cockpit carpet that came with our Anthem as a template. The local Carpet stores would not cut the carpet so I did and they charged $1.75 per-foot to bind it. If you in Central, FL I can make a paper template that will fit Reattas to Cornerstones for you.
