My front AC lost its charge, have a friend who is in the AC repair business look at it.
He installed a charge port, pressured it up with nitrogen found the leaks.
Repaired, charged and working good now.
Maybe I can get a few more yrs out of it.

No he didn't I had to tip him extra to not make me feel bad.
He does not want to do RV systems though, to much climbing up and down carrying equipment, and risk of scratching something.
But I have a special person when I need one, I'm sure if anyone looks into it you can find some help also.
Mine had a fitting joint or two leaking.
Easy fix.

My Mach 8 bit the dust last Friday. We got a mobile tech to check it out and he found “oil” all over the inside of the unit. It’s exactly 45-days out of warranty. I called the Support line and they said they would not cover it.
We’re stuck here waiting for the new unit to be delivered on Monday.
I had always thought my Winnebago had Dometic Penguin II A/C units. So before I found out otherwise I called Dometic Support. They said 45-days out of warranty was close enough and they’d replace the A/C free. Then I gave them the model number and told me it was a Coleman product.
Coleman said out of warranty is out of warranty period.

I lost my rear A/C Coleman Mach 8 in April, it died in July in Canada. Didn't find a RV repair in Canada so waited until I got back to USA. Coleman Mach are not repairable. Either they work, or they don't. If they leak freon and blow warm air, they're done. Cutting, recharging will simply mean they'll need recharging again soon. The design seems sound, everything is sealed though the heat solenoid appears to be a weakness. Coleman would not discuss the warranty with me personally, only the RV repair place. Very, VERY difficult to speak with them direct, even for the RV repair place (took an entire workday to get an answer) . The company that makes Coleman A/C's (forget the name) makes them under contract to Coleman, IE Coleman is not an air conditioner manufacturer.

Got the new Mach 8 installed today. Vastly quieter than the old one and puts out a ton more air volume. It’s a day and night difference. Installer said it was more robustly built too.
