Coleman Mach 8 not cooling

So zone 1 in my 2014 Aspire will stop blowing cold air after a random time of operation. Sometimes it is 30 mins, sometimes in is an hour or more.
The fan is running but the compressor is stops at some point for an unknown reason. No Entegra dealers near by, so I took it to a local shop and they ran it until it failed. They are telling me it is a "freeze switch" failure and the part needs to be replaced.

Reading about the freeze switch in the coleman mach 8 documentation, it appears the 'freeze switch" has to do with heating not cooling.

Anyone here have any insight or had this issue?

Thanks

I had the same issue....it was the freeze sensor. Quick fix.

You can pull up the Coleman on the web, talk with a tech (they claim the line is for service techs, but they will talk with you) and likely get a confirm.

Freeze Sensor failure is a fairly common problem on these mach 8 units. My first one failed at barely a year in service. Now on year 3 I'm replacing an entire unit. What a piece of crap.

UPDATE

Picked up the RV yesterday, they could not find a freeze switch anywhere, claimed Coleman was even out of them. When I told them I would just take the RV and find one online and install it. They told me it was not the freeze switch that was on the coils it was a freeze switch that was inline with the reversing pump and it was not something I could replace.

I will call Coleman on Monday, but wondering if they are just trying to get another service visit. Since we are full time in the RV, we had to have back yesterday and will have to setup another appointment.
