FYI--- I had several discussions with entegra on these issues and they inexplicably remain adamant that their control scheme is correct.
That said, they were happy to put me in touch with their supplier. Everybody was friendly and helpful---- but these issues should not have to be dealt by the rv owner with in the first place ---in my opinion.

Thanks for the info. Didn't realize there is IT somehow involved. Mea culpa

tvolk, I share your frustrations on the shades. You are quite correct, they absolutely refuse to admit MCD is a superior shade with a VASTLY SUPERIOR programming and control system. I also paid United to reprogram my shades and the best they could do is barely acceptable. Entegra, IMHO, should immediately step up to the plate, move to MCD shades throughout AND pay MCD to come in and TRAIN the Entegra installer in the proper installation and programming of the shades. I have had MCD's installed at the factory in a prior coach and they were a far superior installation and programmed system than the United system that Entegra is presently using. With MCDs you can even get a handheld remote that will allow you to control every shade in the coach individually. This is one of a few issues that Entegra has thus far refused to do first class. I think part of the issue is that they used MCD shades for a while but did not opt for the MCD factory training and ended up with a lot of warranty issues, souring them on MCD.

I started to look for that app and then realized how crazy that really is. Just to partially close a shade to stop the sun from shining in I would have to.....1) find the Ipad, 2) turn it on, 3) find and load the app 4) search for the shade I want to close and then.....oh no the wifi is not working in this location!
I think I agree with COBBERSDAD that the best way is to just reach up and close the shade. This was one of the features that I was really looking forward to, just pressing a button to lower the shades. The sales pitch sounded so great. But now I realize that it might not be the best feature.

What other issues would you change on the Cornerstone?

I wish, but not in my 2013 Cornerstone... Electric shades are nice, if set up correctly and with the end user in mind - The Entegra shades are not, or at least the ones in my coach. Presently I have 2 day shades and 1 night shade that will not go up or down. I'd take my manual MCD shades in my last coach over these power shades in a heartbeat.

Mine is a 2013 as well, and shades one thing that I haven't had a problem with. We did have an issue with the dash shades but were told to hold one of the toggles down for several seconds and it worked. I like the ipad feature myself. I don't have to hunt remotes for the tv, the surround, or deal with the shades (JMO).

For those not in the know, please note that this iPad feature isn't one that just anyone can download from the App Store. The iPad Control Center, as it is called, is a special option on the Cornerstone only. MSRP is $5100.00

Oh, I was only talking about the shades. The iPad system seems to work fine with the lights and electronics although I don't use it that much as the iPad (to me) is a little bulky to use as a remote. I know the Crestron App can be added to other iPads and you can have several iPads in operation as I have done this. Unfortunately they have not developed an app for the iPhone that I am aware of as of yet. Having an app for the iPhone would be great...

On our 2013 Anthem, we have the older multiplex panel. While the control buttons are small (and not easy to read from a distance without my glasses) they do control each shade.

The DW and I recently saw the new system with the blue buttons. It's bigger and easier to read, but like many are saying the shades were all down or all up. That would send fire out my tailpipe!!!

Guess I like the Aspire. We raise and lower all shades except the windshield ones by hand so I can put up or down the ones I choose. AND my hand still works well enough to do that!
