Cornerstone 17 vs 18, what’s the difference?
Looking to get a cornerstone in the next day or so, we have been looking for a really long time! We are trying to figure out which is best for us, which model and year. Kinda weighing the good and bad of the 2017 vs 2018, there are only a dozen or so available with the 18’s costing $30-$50k more….. I can’t figure out what we would get for the extra money.

Others on here are going to know more than me but I believe I heard that the 2017 was the last year of the ornate wood trim on the inside.
Each year the companies try to add the special “got to have trinkets” to bring back the previous buyers. To me (just my opinion), The 2017 would have been built in 2016 and that’s when Tadd was still pushing high quality control. If I were looking at both a 2017 and a 2018, this would be a determining factor.

Not a lot of mechanical differences. The interiors were significantly redesigned for the 2018 model year, so you may want to compare and see which you prefer.
Also keep in mind that a newer model year coach that is otherwise identical to an older model year unit will be worth a bit more just because it's newer.

Not much difference in the 17 and 18 except the interior wood trim. The 19 was the big changes with the digital dash, Vega Touch up-gradable via wifi. There "might" be a difference in the TV's, one of those years they introduce 4k TV's. The 19 for sure has the upgraded TV's.
One thing nice about the newer TV's is the ability to mirror NAV apps from your phone to the overhead TV. I am a big fan of WAZE with live traffic and road conditions. So much so I just changed my phone to match the TV.

Entegra publishes what is New for every model year. You may find the doc in the Entegra Connection archives.
As I remember when buying my 2018 CS, new features were...larger dash message center, ride height notification, digital side cameras, kitchen ceiling fan, master bath medicine cabinet. There are others I can not remember. May be 2 X 3000W inveters.

I’ve owned both a 17 and 18 and there is not a lot of difference. 2019 was a big difference!

Well, it looks like we couldn’t get the deal we wanted to fit our budget on either coach we were considering….. So we are now looking at 2015-2017’s.
This is one my wife prefers, my concern is I thought 16 was the new front end year. There are two listing of this coach on RVT/RVTrader one private and one vie pop Rv’ s. I am super leery about the front end looking like a 15 but listed as a 16. Was the new front a mid life cycle change?

I do believe 17 was the first year of the steerable tag
This one is #2 on her list, it’s a 2017 45A. Besides the front cap any big differences?

#3 is a 2016 45B & #4 is a 2015 45B from NIRVC

That's a " Classic " look not a re-designed Cap 2016 .

There was no mid year of the 16. It was introduced as a brand new model, no hold overs with a huge factory kick off. I think the dealer is very confused. It also has the Classic interior and bedspread.

I'll just add that there is absolutely nothing wrong with the " Classic " look just that Cornerstone needs to be priced accordingly . Personally I find the Travel Supreme style front/rear caps to be subtly STYLISH and the 2016 & up to be in YOUR FACE ! Originally we almost cancelled our 2016 order when we got Pics of the re-design but it grew on us .

How do you get Waze on the front monitor? Do you plug your phone into the HDMI port on the dash? Will the tv work without running the generator? I am still sorting out the A\V on our 2021 Anthem.

I upgraded my Samsung phone that has mirroring built in located in the pull down menu. It's call Smart View, which mirrors to new Samsung TV's with he same feature.
I start WAZE with the destination, etc. on my phone, turn TV on, select "Smart View" on my phone and that's it. That was my biggest reason to stay with Samsung instead of taking the "free" iPhone I when I moved to T Mobile.
You can Google your phone and ask how to mirror to a Samsung Smart TV. The new Samsung Galaxy S21 and the 21 Samsung TV are a piece of cake.
I needed a new phone and that was one of my requirements was the easy use of WAZE on the overhead TV. T Mobile offer a "free" iPhone 13, but I stayed with the Samsung for easy use of WAZE on the overhead TV
The TV runs off of the inverter, the engine alternator charges the batteries which keeps power to the inverter to keep the TV and my wifi hotspot working.
