Cornerstone cigarette lighter replacement

2014 Cornerstone
Both cigarette lighter outlets have no power, and we are looking to replace them, and need to know how hard it is.

Not difficult at all. I replaced 3 of the 4 in my 2014 Anthem with USB chargers. Remove the panel they're on, dash, chair side etc. And unscrew from the back.

Could be a burned fuse or even a disconnected wire. The lighter socket is usually retained by a nut threaded on the body of the socket. If you just want to replace with another Cig lighter all you have to do is get access to the back side. If the socket is mounted in a panel that can be removed all you need do is dismount the panel switch out the socket and remount the panel. If you intend to replace the Cig lighter 12v power outlet with a USB port the change will likely require a larger hole in the panel because the USB socket will be a larger diameter. The hole can be enlarged with a Step Drill bit. See photo's below.

One other note. I did this on a Thor ACE removing the panel would have been a Witch except that most of the studs holding the panel in place had become unglued so removing the panel was easy. I used speed nuts and Acorn nuts to make an alternate mounting.
