Cornerstone for a Cornerstone
Our 2015 Cornerstone is no longer for sale - we traded it in for a 2016 Cornerstone!! We are taking our "old" coach to NIRVC next week and picking up the new one.
We have been here at the Entegra factory for the past two weeks, getting everything fixed before the end of the 2 year warranty deadline. While we've been here, we have been so impressed with everyone here - the great customer service folks, the technicians, the subcontractors they bring in to fix some of the components. After going through the plant tour, we realize the extensive advances they have made in the manufacturing process. There have also been many improvements in the systems designs, as well as interior upgrades.
Everything we have experienced here moved us to the decision to get a new Cornerstone. The 45A plan with the desk is perfect for us (we had always planned to take out our loveseat and install a desk, just never did it). So now Kevin has a defined place to do his photography post processing!
We leave Middlebury Friday morning (Tuesday with PJ moved to Thursday this week). We'll be staying at an RV park outside Atlanta near our family, then move over to NIRVC Wednesday night.
We're also signed up for Summerfest in Big Sky. We are looking forward to meeting our fellow adventurers!

Congratulations on the new purchase. I hope our trip to Middlebury next month won't be as expensive What RV park do you stay at outside of Atlanta? The only one we have found is the KOA north of Atlanta. We are looking for a better one.

When you buy your new CS, NIRVC will put you up for a couple of days at the Stone Mountain park. I had heard the stories, but we had a spot that was open and easy to enter. There are some I wouldn't want to ry to get into, but there were a dozen or more that were fine.
We stayed at a CG north of Atlanta that was good but not really close. (Our daughter lives in Chamblee) Twin Lakes. Reviews aren't all that great but we liked it.

Cornerstone
We are staying on the NW side of Atlanta...Rockmart. Probably not what you're looking for.

Brobox,
Not exactly just outside of Atlanta, but the exit before Perry there is a nice little park called Twin Oaks. We stopped at it on our way to Disney World and the pull throughs were long enough for the Essex and it's toad next to us. There were several 45'ers with toads. It's nothing fancy, but well maintained.

We have stayed there many times on our first night when leaving home. This time we will overnight at Ocala Cummins getting the engine and Spartan chassis computer updates. That will put us in the Atlanta area, hopefully past the next day, and there is not much around there that I am aware of.

The prices on this 2016 was so good at NIRVC, it made sense to get another coach. We had one of the very first 2015s, so our 2 year is up next month.
Made sense to us!
