Cornerstone quality

I was convinced that a Cornerstone would be out next coach and then I went to the Tampa show. I currently own a 2006 Monaco Executive and the comparison in interior build is significantly lower in the Cornerstone. Specifically, the center of the cabinet doors is thin paneling and the doors are light and flimsy on comparison.
Because our usage is much lower than many we would not buy a new unit. So, my question is……Are there previous years of the Cornerstone that have raised panel cabinets and better overall interior material quality? We were thinking of a 2017-2019 “W” floor plan but are now thinking a Foretravel Realm is in our future unless there’s a difference in those years of Cornerstone that I mentioned

Thanks folks for your input.

Anything before 2019 had the better cabinets and trim work. The older the coach, the better the wood work. Nothing compares to the solid oak cabinets in my 02 Travel Supreme in today's MH's.

Even the pre-2019 ones that are not cornerstone have solid woodwork throughout.
Later...

I just checked my notes and I was wrong in regards to the thin luan type material on the center of the cabinets. This in fact was in the Tiffin Alegro Bus. Despite that the cabinet doors and walk through doors felt and sound so cheap. I’m hoping we can find a 17-19 Cornerstone somewhere in SW Florida to look at to get a better feel of that vintage before one that we may be interested in shows up on the market

We have a 16 and its a heck of a difference from what U just saw at Tampa. Lots more intricate wood work through out.

I too was at Tampa and spent several days going through Entegra, Newmar, Tiffin and American Coach. I was not impressed with the Cornerstone at all. The wife even agreed that it felt so cheap and lower quality material. Even though the new dash has a large screen, the dash/console looked and felt like cheap plastic. Again, not impressed.

I did like the Newmar London Aire as well as the American Eagle with the island cooktop.

We loved our 17 Cornerstone. We love our 22 also.
My wife feels the wood work was better in the 17. I think the wood is good in the 22 but she is convinced it is a step down.

I like the technology and remote connectivity of the 22. Digital dash as well.
Mileage is up from 6.8 to 7.4. Both coaches drink DEF.

Ride is similar in both.

I have had some issue with the 22 but NIRVC, Entegra, and Spartan have taken care of my issues.

My wish list for Entegra is bigger windows and no carpet. We really liked the London Aire’s we saw at the super show but we are good for now. I have hopes Entegra will make positive changes before our next coach.

I have friends with 14 and 15 Aspires that make the cabinetry in my 19 Cornerstone look sick. Woodwork throughout the coach is significantly cheaper than my 15 Anthem, I bought this 19 sight unseen as I ordered it in January long before I ever saw one.... When I asked how it would look, the answer I got was "Don't worry, you'll LOVE it". You figure why do I need to see it, it just keeps getting better.

WRONG. Was unhappy when I laid eyes on the interior of my brand new coach. Now, it is a good coach now that the bugs have been worked out of it, and the big Cummins is a dream (but consumes a bunch of diesel), but have never been proud of my interior. My Anthem was a higher quality interior by far.

compared to my 17 Cornerstone I thought all the RV at the show were looking cheap, ( didn't get into the nice ones that were roped off) not sure what model American coach I was in it was priced at a bit over a million it seemed real "cheap", then browsing the 5th wheels and travel trailers with the plastic counter tops and floppy doors made my old 03 class C look like a luxury RV.

If you want the better woodwork, scratch 2019 off your list. Like Gary, I had a 19, it the was the year Entegra started manufacturing there own woodwork onsite and "streamlined" the looks. Putting it nicely, the did away with the fancy wood trim and made the woodwork look like every other production line coach. 2018 and before will give you the nicer custom looking woodwork you are looking for. Some like the cleaner look of the new woodwork, others like the Classic design.

Oh so agree, what a change from the 16 and 17 to 23. Tile, wood work and more must cost 40 % less to produce now.

Our 2020 Cornerstone has same wood and wood work, including Corbels and scroll work, as our 2017 had. Actually has better because our 2020 has crown molding throughout.
