Cornerstone TPM

We purchased our 2013 Cornerstone at MHSRV. The description of the unit said it came with a TPM. I have asked around but thought I would check with you folks. Do we have one? Can't find anything on the Entegra site that's clear. I left our old TPM on our old unit as I thought we had one on this?? Help??

Not to sound dumb, but what is a TPM? Toilet Paper Mount is all that comes to mind.

there is no tire monitoring system on the cornerstone that I am aware of. I did read in the cornerstone literature that at one time it came with one. My 2013 did not come with one.

Lol. Sorry. Got lazy typing. Here's the issue. When we bought our coach, the ad said it was in there. I have w screen shot of it. I took some screen shots of other ads and it was in there as well. When we traded our old coach in I left the Tire Minder behind. I checked and the new Cornerstone ads don't display this.

Based upon a conversation that I had with Entegra Customer Service, a tire pressure management system was initially included with the Cornerstone. It was subsequently discontinued because customers would tend to have a preference for a system that was not installed in the motor coach (and there are plenty of TMS offerings in the marketplace). The conclusion was to discontinue including the TMS in the Cornerstone and allow the customer to make their own choice. Evidently marketing literature was not kept updated with the manufacturing changes. Hope this helps.

I think that your dealer would be on the hook for this one. They should deliver what they advertised (clearly their mistake). Maybe if your old coach has not been sold yet they can get your TMS unit back to you. But if not, their cost for a new one is not that significant and I would think they owe that to you....IMHO

I agree really. MHSRV had our old coach sold in just two weeks. I left it on the old coach as I thought we had one on the new. We are waiting to hear back now from MHSRV on what they will do. Thanks for your support.

Entegra does a lot of things great...unfortunately, their web site sometimes lags the great things they are doing:(

I ca think of several things that might be the reason, but sometimes getting changes through company legal (in this case, Jayco) could result in delays.

As far as the advertisement, if you look, somewhere in the fine print there will be a caveat on what's offered, compared to advertised. Almost every company that builds based upon integration of numerous systems almost has to because of system and product changes.

If you broached the issue with MHSRV, prior to close, and especially as you had a system on your old coach that could have been transferred, MHSRV will likely be the only recourse.

I took mine off last week the day before my old coach sold at MHSRV. I will have to purchase two extra transmitters due to the tag. I blew a tire out on my Commander and did not even know it prior to having this new system. It tore off the fender and took the wheel down to about 12" in diameter. I looked around and I think this is the best system around.
Home - Truck System Technologies, Inc

It measures tire air temp as well as pressure. I did not have to purchase the repeater even on this new longer 43' coach. I have a set of sensors I change back and forth from the Commander to the race car trailer. I ordered direct from the company and they treat you very well (just like Entegra). Very customer orientated company.

I purchased a new Cornerstone in May 2013 from LazyDays of Tampa. The manual that comes with the Cornerstone clearly references a TPMS. When I called that to the sales persons attention, he said that he would inquire for me concerning the discrepancy. The bottom line is that I was provided a TST TPMS at no charge. I received the 507 model with 12 sensors. (8 for the RV and 4 for the TOAD.) DoctorH
