Cornerstone vs. the Competition
Greetings from Lake Conroe, Texas. A friend recently purchased a new Anthem and it is of course very very nice! For those of you who own a Cornerstone, I would really appreciate knowing your impression of it as compared to any previous coach(s). I am especially interested in how the ride of the K3 compares. If you wouldn't mind including make and year model of your past coach, that would speak even louder. THANK YOU VERY MUCH, Jeff

I don't want to start a flame, but a person we met this summer who had just traded his Pevost for an American Heritage saw our Anthem and said he wished he had known about them.....
He might have just been being polite, but I know he spent three weeks having work done on the way down to FL. All coaches have issues though so that isn't a judgement statement.

The best thing for you to do would be to go to MHSRV and drive one.

In talking with the Cornerstone owners at Summerfest, I think the big difference in ride is the work of the Hadley air and auto leveling during the drive, particularly in strong cross winds...they say it drives like a dream. My guess is the air ride plus another 150HP, larger front tires, etc makes for a much better ride (over what is already a pretty nice ride in an Anthem).

On the next MH I want 600 HP. Does the Cornerstone have comfort drive like the Newmar rigs? Seems like the Cornerstones are way less money then a 600 HP King Aire.

No Comfort Drive so far on any coach except Newmar or Newell. And yes, the Cornerstone is WAY less money than a King air.

Yep ... about $400K less ... I'm trying to understand the difference after visiting the Newmar and Entegra factories and seeing both...hard to see that much additional money. JMHO

A question that I'm going to ask while doing the Entegra factory tour on 11/26 is if they would consider putting the Anthem on the K-2 with the 500 HP with the Hadley Air, to make a little more difference between the Aspire & Anthem. I don't know how much it would increase the price, but that's something that would be extremely attractive to me.

Forget about it, no way they will do that. Take your choice, Anthem or Cornerstone. They won't even move a cabinet!

At least until they are ready. New floor plans do come, slowly. They have their good reasons why.
A chassis change would be a major change with the MM being tried and true. My guess..they'll figure out how to add the Hadley air system to Anthem to respond to the Allegro Bus having same (at least that is my understanding (looking forward to Tampa show to see how the other manufacturers are responding to Entegra challenge at the price point, but my sense is that Tiffin has already started.

Marc,
I didn't mean as a modification for me, I meant as a change in their production line. Never hurts to raise the issue ... but not doubt they considered it at some point and dismissed it for some reason.

Dave,
I don't see Hadley yet advertised on the Tiffin Bus. Are you talking about Tiffin possibly putting Hadley on the Bus or am I missing something on their site?

Just repeating what I had heard....hadn't investigated. Then again, they may have confused something on that chassis for a Hadley air system. I know nothing about the Bus chassis. Was talking last night to a Bus owner and he rattled off the name of the chassis and I had not heard of it. The problem is if you add Hadleys to the MM chassis, then folks want to know what you getting when you upgrade to the Cornerstone; of course they know little of the K3 chassis.
There are a lot of little differences between the three lines that add up...obviously, the jump to K3 chassis with 600 HP engine is the BIG jump for Cornerstone. Taking Anthem to a K2 with 500 HP...just not sure Entegra would ever see the value equation to that approach. I hear that the all electric Bus is less $s than the Anthem, so Entegra may have to respond with something.
