Couple newb questions opinions

Installed new koni shocks on 2015 anthem. Have not driven it yet. Was wondering what opinions anybody can share. Also I am going to drain some fluid from equalizer jack and add some marvel mystery oil to condition the rest. I'm thinking remove one quart and replace one quart. And should I check level jacks up or down also is bleeding them doable TIA.

I just looked at the Marvel Mystery Oil web site.

I read thru it and couldn't find any claims of it doing anything. Just some story of cleaning excess lead from carburator jets. We don't see many carburators or any leaded gas these days.

What do you think it will do for your leveling system ?

No bleeding of the system just cycle them full stroke to purge any air.
Oil level is checked with pistons collapsed, stored mode.

I added the Marvel Oil to my 2014 Anthem after removing one quart. My jacks now operate quieter then before the add. No help on bleeding the system, but have not heard of anyone needing to do it! FYI, after adding the new oil DO NOT operate the jacks too many times as I have heard of that overheating them and causing problems.

As for the Koni install glad I did, as the ride and handling improved.

Konis made all the difference in the world on my 14.

If your jacks are not noisy, no need to fix them. If they are noisy, drain and exchange 1 qt of MM oil. To bleed raise the coach all the way up, wait a few minutes then lower. Wait 10 minutes for the motor to cool and repeat 3 times, letting the motor cool each time. Equalizer rushed the procedure on mine and had to replace the motor. Fluid level is check with the jacks up.

I have had no issues with my jacks on either coach so I have no knowledge.

On the Koni shocks they helped my 2017. Especially with porpoising.

As usual Thank Y'all very much. The jacks are not squealing however I think they could be quite since I heard a unit who's jacks were quite a bit quieter.. is the fluid dexron tra. Fluid that is in the tank.

Sometimes the noise can be quieted by spraying the legs with WD40 just before you retract them. It will quiet noisy seals.
Later...

JMO, but if the jack noise is acceptable, let them be. They are temperamental with attempted repairs. My 14 jacks were loud enough to wake the dead. Entegra and Equalizer could not fix them, they had to replace the jacks. Many have burnt up motors trying to bleed them even waiting the proper amount of time for the motor to cool. Even Equalizer burnt up the motor when they replaced my jacks and had to come back and replace the motor, it quit the next day when we moved to Shipshewana. Trying to get the noise out of the jacks turned into a 3 day job.

My 19 the jacks were perfect. The 21 has a slight noise, but nothing I am going to worry about. I'll WD 40 the rams, cycle the jacks a couple of times and call it good. Might try the same thing with yours and see if that helps. WD 40 is what Equalizer recommended to me, but silicone probably works just as well.

If there is not leak Dexron III should never be required. If it needs fluid there is seal or a hose leaking.

I have Konis on my 15 Anthem. They are much better than OEM in my opinion. My jacks squeak, always have. So what, they work and it only squeaks for a few minutes going up and down. Don’t sweat the small stuff!

Also, if spraying the rams with WD40, do it just before retracting. Do not leave them sit for a day after spraying, the WD40 will attract a lot of dirt and dust.
Later...

Better of the two. It is what is recommended by Equalizer. Shops will use MM oil because of the cost difference. Some have used CAT fluid, not go through the raising the coach up and down and the noise as eventually gone away with use.
Try the simle method first with WD-40, that is also recommended by Equalizer before a fluid change.

Mystery Oil mixed with Diesel Fluid makes for a great penetration fluid and gun cleaner.
