Cummins recall 74148558

got a recall notice from Cummins. C2592 not the above number that's my motor number
something about computer reprogram

any one had this done, Im looking to get it done within the next 2 weeks before leaving to Quartzsite for the RV gathering

anybody have any info about this

It’s probably your fuel rail recall. You will need to schedule with Cummins to get that performed. There is usually one in your area.

Had the fuel rail recall completed already earlier this year.
In fact the came to NIRVC and did it and it was done wrong something about a leak and had to have it towed back, then they redid it and. all is well now but im told this is about. computer reprogramming and takes cummins several hrs to do.
I did find a cummins service center 25 miles away.

I look on the link but didnt see anything regarding the Campaign

Then it is a Cummins Campaign and not a recall. A Recall would stop title from being passed until completed. There is a difference.

I've heard it's good to get a copy of your ECM program, if your getting hooked up for programming change. If something happened to ECM you can get new/reman. reprogrammed.

I had never followed the link to the NHTSA site you included a few posts above and re-read this thread today and entered the VIN shown on my two placards and it says it can't find my VIN. If you enter your coach's VIN, does it find your VIN? Are motorcoaches included in this web page? I've entered my VIN multiple times and NOTHING...........

Maybe the site is down for some reason...., but it finds my pickup truck and toad? I'm confused...

Gary, I've unsuccessfully used Chuck's link to the NHTSA site a number of times. Each time, the response to my query has been the same:

The VIN you entered cannot be processed at this time. If the VIN was entered correctly, please contact your vehicle manufacturer for more information.

Gary i just tied it as well, my VIN did not work this time either as it did in the past. I am on the email list and do get any recalls on my coach emailed to me. There is another location on the right side of the screen all the way at the bottom, that did not work either. Being a Govt agency, who know when it will work again.

I typed in 2021 Entegra Cornerstone instead of VIN # and that worked, but still will not pull up the recalls by the number. https://www.nhtsa.gov/vehicle/2021/ENTEGRA/CORNERSTONE

Finally found a page that works. Typical Govt, a person has to work harder than they do. https://www.nhtsa.gov/vehicle/2021/E...RSTONE#recalls
Please don't fault me for a Govt site that does not do what it was designed for.

They still don't find my number. Like Stu, I get this message. "The VIN you entered cannot be processed at this time. If the VIN was entered correctly, please contact your vehicle manufacturer for more information."

I've thought before that my coach may be a North Korean "knock off" and this is adding to my suspicion.

Spartan can find my VIN so maybe I'm OK. I've paid my taxes every year and don't owe the government anything and am in no witness protection program, so not sure what they have against me....
