Behind the panel above the entrance doors are a bunch of wire bundles. You have to unscrew the full panel cover. Underneath those are two fairly large plugs side by side (they are about 2 inches by 1/4 inch, long side is parallel to the ground). On my 2017 I recently unplugged and switched them so the front night shades are now the day shades and vice versa. I had to work to get the panel back on as there are more wires in there than there is space..... the downside is that on your Vega touch controller you have to remember that day is night and night is day....

I got that info on this forum. I think its unsafe if you only have the day shades to block the sun. It can be so bright that you just can't even see the road....

Our 2018 Aspire all shades work weather driving or parked. I suppose I got lucky. I have often thought about what to do if they ever rolled down on their own while driving.
