Actually, it's Chuck Lasley.

Yes, it is quite a team. A ton of talent there.

A ton of talent and TWO high end product lines... I don't see Newmar complaining about NIRVC's success...

JMO, but it looks like Jayco should have paid some high dollars for Non Compete agreements before terminating some key people.

These are all fairly young guys and they have all been in the RV industry for a long time. I would guess it would take a lot of $$ to buy them out of their careers in an industry they seem to thrive in. A lot more than Thor Industries would want to part with.

Actually, non competes are implemented when you begin employment with a company and then they are enforced when you leave. It can get a little sticky at the higher executive levels, but non competes have to be fairly well defined as courts take a dim view of broad non competes and one or two years is probably the max that can be enforced. I would imagine these individuals had a non compete agreement in place. What I would assume is that agreement prevented them from going to Newmar, Winnebago, American Coach etc. It would not prevent them from going to work for a company like NIRVC as they are not manufacturing RV's. What these folks have to be careful of is to not divulge proprietary information, intellectual property and company secrets.

Maybe the real money to be made here would be a new reality tv show. “As the RV turns”. The big bad factory upset with the prodigal dealership and then there’s the “OTHER” dealership. Who’s the favorite this week and which employee snitches.

Kind of reminds me of a story in the Bible....Cane and Able.
