IRV2 member AKH has sent me pics of a home made tool that I believe will do the trick. I will let everyone know when I get it done.
Thanks to all

just had this happen to me on my 2013 CS. i was able to lay under the coach with pair of needle nose pliers and pulled on the little thingy, LOL and was able to get i open. you may be able to us a screw driver or channel locks too, but it is a very smaill space. once you see the latch mechinism you can figure out how to pop the latch open.
good luck with it. we were in a camp ground in Colorado on the way home to ohio last june when it happened.

Not that I want to get totally off track here, but since we are talking about door latches….. Sometimes my remote FOB works (to lock/unlock) the bay doors and sometimes it doesn’t. Any ideas out there. It works well for the entry door with no issues.
Also, again since we are on the subject- I have been using “Kwikee Lube” to lube the locks, hinges, doors, and stairs. Are there any opinions on this product?
Be safe
Dr. Mike

When mine started doing that I replaced the batteries in the FOBs. No problem after that. No idea how old they were to begin with.
Later...

Wanted to get back to everyone on the baggage door saga. As Rgrebbie mentioned, I was able to lay on ground and look up between gap and see the lock and using a piece of bent aluminum I was able to disengage it. If the truth be known I had been working on it for a couple of days, trying to finagle the aluminum piece between the panels to push the lock open with no success. My wife happened to come out one time to see if she could help and within 2 minutes says “why don’t you see if you can lay on ground and look up and see it” duh. I did make her hold the flashlight though!
The problem is the screw that holds the metal lever that pushes the lock open when pulled comes loose and just hangs there. I put blue loctite and tightened the screw.
After going through that I did observe that on my Aspire, there are at least 2 more doors that will not have access if they come loose. The door to propane and the door where the aqua-hot and electric cord are. I disassembled those and put blue loctite on the screws.
Thanks again to all responses.

latches and locks
The day before every travel day I check to make sure all of my latches are secured with no bolts or nuts loose or missing. I check to make sure my bay doors are in alignment when closed and are properly adjusted. I also check the screws that hold the pistons in place on both ends. Those have a habit of breaking. Those screws can be replaced by removing the piston and backing the broken screw out using vice grips.
I use the keypad to lock and unlock my entry door and compartments from outside and I have had a few Trimark system failures. Those were easily remedied once I was able to gain entry to my coach. Last, I keep a spare set of RV keys in my car.
