I'm not sure I would want undercoating. It just traps salts and contaminants which cannot be completely eliminated by washing. When I used to have have undercoating on cars, after a few years it would start peeling away, showing rust underneath. It used to be a huge money maker for car dealers who would make 500% markups on it, but I think it may do more harm than good.

AM Call
Good Afternoon.. Woke up this morning with a call from RVone & my Rep Eric Hodes. He was more concerned he woke me up, hell he could call me the middle of the night for all i care.. anyhow he advised that he was notified by Entegra my rig looks like it will be leaving the yard today. I'm sure when I get there it will be cleaned up for the first walk through. So if things are on time I will plan to go up there the weekend of the 20th of February, unless Eric calls me earlier and I can make it this weekend. Time will tell..

Still Waiting
Was told my Cornerstone left sometime last week. Eric from RVone in Orlando advised that an Anthem had arrived at the dealership today after a bit of a delay due to weather. He said mine should be coming right behind and should be any day....
Anticipation is an exciting emotion
By the way off the subject.. on a medical issue and if you're 50 something on up! On Saturday of Last week I noticed a few floaters in my left eye and one fixed spot. Later that night I started to notice some sort of flashing halo or something that just felt really different beside the normalcy of floaters that happen with age. I called up my Mom's Ophthalmologist who turned out he was a Retina specialist and they got me right in. Upon looking into my eye he said I was having the normal separation that causes floaters, but that a small tear had happened in on the Retina! He zapped it with a lazer and that was that.. if the tear wasn't taken care of it could have gotten larger needing major surgery or worse if i let it go for awhile the retina could have started to separate and eventually detach causing blindness in that eye. So the moral of the story is if you're feeling something that feels beyond not normal get it checked out..
Now back to the excitement .. of waiting!

Speaking of long deliveries......mine was also delayed 3 weeks last year because of weather. The drivers are supposedly not to use the generators. When it was delivered to LD it had 26 hour on the genny. When we picked it up at Entegra in May it had 46 hours on it. I don't know why the genny was used so much with Aqua Hot there for heat, but I was glad they had the break in hours on it and everything on the generator was working perfect. I put 3 more hours on it coming home then changed the break in oil. The way we use the generator, I would have had the 50 hour right in the middle of a long trip, so the break in by the delivery drivers worked out perfect. Curious if your will have any hours on it when it arrives as it seems to be going through the same cold weather.

He probably dry camped to save the campground costs, hence the generator use. I wonder why the drivers are not supposed to use the generator? Why treat them badly? Anyhow it seems like a good idea for them to break it in and test it out for you. If it's not going to hold up, I'd rather know it at the outset.

I figure by time the coach gets down here it will have around 1400 miles on it and some genny hours which is fine with me. Be it Warranty starts from when you take delivery those are hours that won't affect warranty.. so I look at it as break in hours and if anything major is wrong it would be a great time to happen.

I have a question
Currently my rig is 40.5 feet and I have no problems turning into my storage gates and to my parking spot even with my toad hooked up.. what am I too expect with 45 feet and 4.5 feet more? What differences in manuvering will this extra footage effect my turns into those same gates? How will the tag axles effect my turns if any? Or will it pretty much be the same?

Gary, it depends on the wheel cut on each coach. My 2003 Beaver 40 foot had a poor wheel cut, roughly 41 degrees, and my 45 foot Entegra with its 55 degree wheel cut turns sharper than the 40 foot Beaver did.

going from a 40' (non ifs) to a 43' tag with ifs was not much difference manouvering but going from 43' to 45' was more of a difference than the 40' to 43'

Exactly how I felt, run it and test it. A few have reported starters going out in the first 50 hours....glad mine was tested.

One thing to add that I am still getting use to is to use the "tag dump" switch of the drivers console. It does help in sharp turns.
My 38 ft TS with the toad had a hard time making the U turn where I get on US 41 to come home form my storage area. The 43 Entegra with the toad has room to spare making the same turn. Both had Spartan 55 degree cuts, but the Entegra is much better.

my current tiffin phaeton has a 55 degree wheel cut.. so the same as the cornerstone.. so does that mean it won't be that much of a difference getting it into the gate as I currently do? Does the extra 4.5 feet and tag change things?
