Thanks for that tip Larry. When I had that problem it cost me a new 4048 water pump.

I glad you brought up the removal tool, now I will have one for the MH as I had to call Delta anyhow. I also learned another area to check if the pump is cycling.

Yep, I’m hoping to one day graduate from the School of Hard Knocks and become one of those guys, but despite nearing 20 years of RV ownership I keep getting held back for additional remedial training!

Chuck, I'm sure you meant to say you purchased a spare water pump, just in case...

I purchased a 4048 because my 4008 was getting noisy and cycling. I like your fix better.
I hope you didn't think me asking Delta about the tool was a dig.. It was meant as a compliment for you making the post. Now I will be sure to have one in the MH.
