It's certainly ok to run but the ISB is a parent bore engine with no need for the SCA component that's in this formulation.

When my radiator started to leak and it was replaced by a Cummins CoachCare shop in Houston, Cummins had no Final Charge, and called Spartan, and Spartan said Fleetguard Compleat CS OAT was fine to use instead. I have changed the label on the overflow tank to indicate the new coolant type, and I carry two gallons as spare in the basement.

Wrong advice from other brand owners!!!!! On the Spartan Sticker, Peak Final Charge, Zerex Extended Life and Fleetguard from Cummins are approved, can be mixed with no harm and will not void your warranty. These coolants do not need SCA for the engine and can do harm if mixed. The Zerex is everywhere and not hard to find. This was used when my radiator was replace by Lazy Days with Spartan's blessing. One out of the three approved coolants are not that hard to find. With all the 18 wheelers that park at Walmarts, they usually have one of the coolants in stock. Zerex more so that Peak on the West coast.

Fourteen year satisfied user. Never chased one, and on my second set with two different MH's. Nice part, if you need one now and don't want to glue magnets on in 100 degree temps, these go up right out of the box. Shipping is in a day or two and why I suggested them for his need.. I do replace the suction cups every couple of years for maximum hold.
Nothing wrong with Magna Shades, but the time to install them to start using it. They are both the same material. I don't leave home without mine

Here's a previous post about the CORRECT coolant
I posted this in 2014. Entegra was not aware of these facts until I pointed to the research I did post incident. This was a costly mistake. It cost me over $500 to restore the coach to not affect my warranty....

Those owners of other brands may mean well but they do not know what your coach requires. I would suspect other coaches with new Spartan chassis use the same as Entegra (like Newmar).

Dave, I leaned a valuable lesson from your post and really took it to heart. DON'T mess with what the sticker says on the recovery tank. I took a photo of the sticker after your post so it is always in my phone to get the right stuff.
Thanks for re-posting that as important as it is.

That's a great price Johnny. I've seen those for as much as $25/gal.

It comes both ways. Final Charge Global is OAT and then there is Final Charge NOAT. The 2 labels are very similar. I understand that NOAT is not compatible with aluminum components. Spartan says OAT red color from Peak Zerex or Prestone is ok. Fleet Charge is not compatible.
