DEQ bath vs 44B

Our coach search begins in earnest this coming spring but Im still undecided on floor plans.
The DEQ remains high on my list but the 44B is DWs preferred layout and either would be great for us.
Have not seen many comments about this so:

We have not seen the new rectangular shower in the DEQ in person.
At 63 I am hoping there is more elbow room both in and out of the shower but...
Any thoughts?
Thanks.

Thoughts the DEQ "Rectangular" looks a little small,

We have had both .Deq aspire now in 44b Anthem. We like B for us best. Having second bath room is great if family in. Only loss in the chair and a little more compact with everything moved forward to make room for the full bath in the rear. Both are great floor plans for viewing TV and not needing to set side ways.

I too have had a DEQ and a B (although a 45B). It all depends on whether or not the extra toilet is worth about 5 feet of living/storage area. For us the single bath makes the most sense, hence our current X. But as the old cowboy said, "There's a butt for every saddle"

I think the 44 b is the overall coziest with definitely the best tv viewing layout... and a half bath is really nice for guest ( or me when my wife hogs the main bath)Jmo .. also has a better re sale value and will probably sell quicker .. Entegra and nada blue book both have the official floor plan
Labeled as 44 B, not 45 B. Just a fact...
there all great coaches

We have the DEQ. We love the large double vanity with the extra living space. We bought our coach for us, not for who we will entertain 2% of the time. I saw no purpose for a second toilet.

In fact we are looking at potential upgrade to either Cornerstone or London Aire this next spring and we will go after the same floorplan.

We've got the "Y" after having a "B". We like the extra space up front and the extra storage.

The Stool room is small but that encourages you to get in and out!

Best layout we've had (SL-B-Y) and two other SOB's

We have a 15 Anthem DEQ with the curved shower. When I saw the rectangular shower in an 18 DEQ going down the line while on a factory tour in April I was very surprised and considered it might be a deal breaker. Another DEQ owner was with me as we walked thru and thought the same thing. We really wondered why they changed it.

Thanks everyone. One of those things I guess I will have to decide for myself.
There is an underlying part of this that favors the 44B (at least the Aspire/earlier models, not sure about the '17 or '18 ). If we have two toilets, I would like one to be manual to better manage our water usage when boon docking.
Hope to have this figured out by next Feb in Phoenix.
thanks again.

We had a 13 Aspire DEQ and moved to a 16 Anthem 44B and much prefer it. Better bath, convenience of 1/2 bath as well as a comfortable seating arrangement with the 100" sofa. The L sofa just was not that comfy. It is slightly smaller in the front but we really don't notice it much.

Also a consideration might be size of the rear closet and location of the washer/dryer, especially if full timing.
