DEQ Table
There are several floor plans that have the same table we have in our DEQ. Ours pulls out about 6-8".
We have jokingly adopted the saying of "drinks for 8, dinner for 4, sleeps 2". However there is no way 4 people could sit around our table. One more person could sit at the end when it is pulled out but 2 will not fit on each side.
Am I missing something and not getting it pulled put enough?

Nope...if you entertain, I see lap trays or a picnic table in your future dinner settings...
Kind of makes you wond what those upscale folding chairs are for -- just sayin'

Yep, the folding chairs are already in the garage. I didn't see a way to use them so decided not to haul them.

We asked the same questioned when we looked at the larger entertaining area floor plans. We were told "that is as big as the table gets."

Beautiful dinette but accept the fact that it is built for two. We chose the DLQ /DEQ floor plan because we are just a couple and wanted more floor space however those folding chairs won't see much use will they?

The table makes a good excuse to not bring a lot of friends or family along for overnights! ;-)

Seating
The table is small. If it pulled out any further ( our tiffin had a table that pulled out further)---it would interfere with the L shaped couch.
That is a trade off we accepted.
We keep one folding chair to set behind the drivers seat when we do not turn that seat around. Mostly, the folding seats are not used.
For our trip to entegrafest, we brought a kitchen style stool that fits easily at the end of the table for when we want to simply sit for a few minutes as a third seating spot. The stool is 4 legged and as low as we could find. To my surprise, it was useful and will now stay in the rv. Inexpensive and it fits easily. Another issue is the very tight space for the regular chair on the refrigerator side of the table-- the stool allows more space to sit.

We put the extra dining chairs in storage along with the recliner which took up a lot of room and blocked the nice long window. We replaced the recliner with a custom made wooden trunk (perfect liquor cabinet) and made 2 large serving trays that fit perfectly on top of the trunk (inside a raised rail lid which keeps them in place while driving). The serving trays fit perfectly on top of the ottomans when having dinner on the sofa or for serving snacks to guests. So if we have additional guests for dinner we have a solution. Sometimes the smallest changes provide the best solutions.....works PERFECT for us.

Don't settle for only seating 2 at your DEQ dining table. Here's what we did.-----You can get at least 8+ more inches of corion table top from underneath the buffet. Have someone put "stops" inplace so the whole thing doesn't come out. We also have a retractable leg mounted under the table for extra support. We now enjoy dinner for 4 (placemats now fit) and it does not interfere with the sectional sofa. That being said, I agree that the area for the dining chair next to the refrigerator is very tight!
FYI, we had the work done at Orlando RV.
