It's not hard to use and I haven't had any problems with it. It came with the different cutting sponges and I use Maguires products for the buffing.

When I had my fifth wheel, I was able to help some of the folks with some pretty bad scratches with it.

I using a Flex DA Random Orbital and Meguiars 105 and 205 compounds to remove the swirls that most dealers INSIST on putting in your clearcoat when they buff the coaches out with a rotary buffer with wool wheels.

I follow up with Collinite Double wax.

For those of you who are thinking about purchasing a buffer, a random orbital like mine or the Cyclo are what to buy. They will remove swirl and scratches without damaging the clearcoat. Avoid the rotary buffers, they are for heavy work and will destroy a finish if you are not proficient using one.

I'm working off memory but when I bought my unit I paid about $75 for a kit that included the pads. The pads are color coded and they come with directions. Some of the pads are more aggressive than others.

I use the yellow pads the most. This tool will remove most all scratches easily. At my last rally I went from one RV to the other taking scratches out cause by trees. They kept my booze class full and I kept working

I just paid $10 a foot $430 for a complete wash & wax including the slides in Boise Idaho.
