If that’s the case, then why didn’t you provided a link for the OP and Stu. That’s all I did and it’s MY research.

Hi Paul,

I'm sure the OP appreciates your research and links. Thanks.

It's been a while since I did my research to locate a source for resin, and my memory may be mistaken, but, if I recall correctly, it was Chuck that steered me to look at Bulk Reef Supply as a potential source.

Chuck has a pretty long history of providing all sorts of help to many forum users on a wide range of topics.

Take care,
Stu

Twas I that that directed you to Bulk Reef Supply back in 2017.

I would like to remind everyone that the DI beads from Bulk Reef Supply are aquarium quality and cannot be used for drinking water. So if you are only using your system to wash things you are OK with those beads otherwise you must find a source for food grade beads. Let's play safe.

PS. I had to edit and add that it was Chuck that put building a DI rinse system in my head. I thank him for that.

Well, there you go, Robert. Launching me off on a historical search.

It's OK, though...didn't have anywhere to go, you know.

Indeed, it was you, who on March 18, 2015, gave me the link to Bulk Reef Supply.

And, as you acknowledged, it was Chuck who put the possibility of building a DIY DI rinse system into at least two heads.

Take care,
Stu

Thank you for the kind words. It was a lot of us sharing ideas, like Robert with the resin source, I think my first purchase was on eBay. Then someone else with a better filter canister that we all wound up with a great DI rinse unit.
