A while back I noted that we had installed LED's on our 2013 awnigs like the ones that are now standard.

Also I noted that I had seen iquailhunter's dimmer and wanted that feature, but I wanted a remote which he did not have so I could gloat whenever I see or talk to him.

SUCCESS!

The original installer had not brought both power and ground down to the switch. After correcting that the new switch and dimmer work beautifully.

There is a PS however: In the interest of full disclosure, you must be inside the coach with the door to the cabinet open for the remote to work...... So while I can gloat, it''s a pretty limited gloat!

You need to move the sensor,or create a window for it to see through.

I also had a dimmer switches installed for the awning LEDs but they work perfectly while outside. I use a remote to turn on/off and dim the LEDs.

Can you ell me which switch you ordered? I have two and theya re both the same - Line of sight only Grrrrrr

Does this dimmer work with the LED lights that came with the coach also, or just with the LEDs that were installed later?

I would think that the dimmer switch would work because the kit is suppose to be the same as what is being installed. Here's a pic of the dimmer switch installed:
