Dinette chairs in Anthem 44B

We are new owners to a 2018 Anthem 44B. Has anyone changed out the dinette chairs to something better? Like a swivel type? Just wondering if there is something better?

The new Entegras now have swivel chairs so you could probably order a set. Ive heard they are pricey. We found some comfy swivel chairs at either Wayfair or Overstock.com - not sure which without checking - but both had multiple choices available. Stored the original ones. Good luck!

Wayfair had a good swivel chair but no hole on the back to move around easier. About a third the cost of Entegra's. Nice and comfy.

Any links y'all could provide would help greatly. I've seen swivel barstools that have been cut down to fit at the table but if you have found a chair that works well, would love to see it. Thanks.

Im not sure that overpriced swivel chairs are the answer.

Make sure you actually sit in some at the dinette and spend some time in them before investing in that solution.

I've been wanting swivel chairs since day one. Finally bought these from Overstock.com at $85 each. A fellow Entegra owner at Bella Terra was kind enough to cut 5 1/2 inches off the legs for me ... perfect! They are heavy enough that they don't go anywhere traveling and swivel just right so that it doesn't hit the cabinet to the side. Would highly recommend them. They are absolutely perfect to me

We swapped out the original chairs very early on and put them in storage because they were undersized meaning short. They were over two inches shorter than normal chairs. We bought chairs from Wayfair. Be sure you choose chairs with straighter backs or they won't give you enough room between the table and the refrigerator. They should have never put that four inch thick wall between the fridge and dining area.

We were at Lambright (Topeka, IN---it's near Middlebury) a few months ago getting theater seating to replace the L-shaped couch. Mr. Lambright demoed his new chairs (with swivels) and we bought a pair on the spot. The leather(ish) material is the same as the couch and the driver/pass seats.

The swivel seemed like *such* a good idea. But in reality we never really use it. Just sort of slide in and out like every other chair.

But I'm glad we got the chairs--one advantage is they are easier to clean, versus the fabric of the old chairs. Lambright does beautiful work---the chairs are super-sturdy, finish matches the coach, etc.

edit: I should point out that the swivel on these chairs "snaps" back to center when you get up. Just the bottom pad swivels. If they didn't snap back, they might be more useful as swivels (but possibly uglier...?)

Has anyone sat in the new chairs of the new coaches? They look nice but a bit pricey as well. Sara in parts said 600.00 to 900.00 depending on fabric. Made by REM Industry, but not displayed on website.

I'd also like to hear from someone who has actually spent a couple hours sitting in those expensive Entegra swivel chairs while working on a computer at the dinette... Comfortable sitting??

I don't have the expensive EC swivle chairs, but had the ones that came with my coach, non swivel. The swivel chairs we got from Wayfair are about the same comfort level as the non swivel. The advantage, and this swivel does not return to center, is getting in and out without having to scoot or lift the chair back. The legs stay in position.

This is very handy especially as we have an old dog that can't get around well on tile so we have nice throw carpets that the chairs sit on. The carpets also 'level up' on the carpet on the slide and throw carpet runner. So the chairs stay very stable and don't get caught in the grove transition area.

Our swivel chairs are from Wayfair, are a leather like fabric (not pleather but not fabric either) bucket style, wipe clean, very comfortable whether eating or working on the computer, easy in and out and were about $350 each. They are also very modern without a touch of wood, suits our tastes but I know many others prefer more traditional pieces. Wayfair had a large selection. Weve purchased from them several times and have been very pleased with the quality and customer service.
