Dinette light

I want to change the head knocker dinette light on our 2015 Anthem. Can I use any 110 volt fixture or is there something special about the factory lights/wiring?
Thinking of going with a lower profile light in lieu of wearing a hard hat.
Thanks in advance.

Should be 12 volt.

If you are at all handy it would not be difficult to take a 120 volt fixture and swap some 12 volt lights into it. That's what I did.

The problem is how low the fixture is. It is an obstacle when learning in to get stuff out of the cabinet. What I need to know is what is the wiring going to the fixture. Is the wiring 110 or 12 volt or both?

The dinette light in the Entegra is 12v. The new fixtures are flush. There was a post if the new fixtures fit the hole cutout for the head banger.

You are going to miss the headaches and the occasional opportunity to know what is like to be a red head. Every time I have an up close and personal contact with the fixture, I have an additional injury by kicking myself for not replacing it.

I hit my head the other day so hard it bent the light fixture...

My friend has a 2017 Aspire and his light is flush.

Has anyone sourced a compatible light?
