Direct TV and Bose Volume Control
We have DTV in the living room of our 2017 Anthem. Has anyone had success in binding the DTV remote to the Bose so as to allow volume control from Directs remote?
Same question regarding the Bedroom TV?

Yes, the directv remote can be programmed to control the volume on the Bose system, it will also turn the Bose on and off.

Yes on the front TV. Followed Directv's directions and it worked the first time. Have you tried it and can't get it to work?

Go here and read the screens carefully. This will walk you through multiple devices. It's not just a code lookup.

Our 2015 Bose system works with directv remote. Go into menue(directv) then remote set up.

Bill, a follow up
What I have is the Samsung TV with the audio routed through the Bose. The Bose remote talks to the Bose unit through the IR emitter.
The remote for DTV is RF. Can the remote for DTV be set for both RF and IR? The link below will give me the codes for Samsung, but not the codes for Bose so I am not sure how to set this up.

Down load the instructions.
When in the program remote selection go to "change audio device"
Spell out Bose
Select "I don't know my model" At this point it will generate codes for you to try. Mine was the second one.
Really hope this helps. I know how frustrating this kind of crap is sometimes.

My remote is also set up for RF, but it still controls the volume on my Bose (same system as you have) and turns it on and off. If you look at the link I listed there are a number of links on the second page (after you've picked your remote model on page one) right below the words Directv - Remote Control Code Lookup. They say Television Video-DVD Audio Satellite Set Top Box Video - VCR. They're in Blue letters on my iPad. Choose Audio and put in Bose. I know this works well for the older HR24 that I have. Not sure about the newer DVRs.
BTW, for anyone who watches only one TV at a time and who has only one DVR, the remote set to RF will control the DVR from anywhere in the coach, including outside, even though the DVR is installed above the fireplace.

I was able to get the DVT remote to control the Bose Volume and Channel selection with your assistance. Don't believe the DTV remote will turn the Bose on / off. Have to look a little closer at that though.

Our directv remote will turn the front Bose on and off, it won't turn the rear on and off. Go figure.

On my older remote (RC65RC) the On/Off buttons to the right of the PWR button turn the TV and Bose system on and off.
