What does that number get you that the published 800 number doesnt get you? Does that get you to the DNS operator and section who seem to know the most about motorhomes (most of the standard people don't know the difference between a motorhome and a mobile-home and you can get into some really frustrating discussions). Where does that phone number end up (within the organization)?

At least Bosie ID is in the United State and not Manila, Philippines. At least they will speak English at the number given and that would be a big plus.

As Chuck noted, it gives you the "Loyal Customer" support here in the USA with someone who speaks and understands English. You can call the regular number and ask them to transfer you to the "Loyal Customer" number and that will be the Boise center (according to the info I received from Boise last night).

I became very frustrated with DIRECTV's lack of CS last summer while trying to get local stations out west. Then, when I came back to GA it took over 2 hours to get the local stations here. Last night when I called this number to cancel my account, I got someone who could actually speak and understand English. She offered a good discount for me to stay, but I have had enough of DIRECTV and am now a DISH subscriber. Hope it is better.

The number for USA AT&T phone, support is 877-406-1549.

I just switch back to DISH yesterday for the same reasons. Today someone finally called to correct the problems from over a year ago after they told me "tough, you're under contract." Contract was up and i was gone.

This time I went through a local dealer and now have a local person with access to the DISH computer system that I can call even while traveling. It was great having a local person to deal with.
