Can't seem to get Dirt Devil to turn on? I have 2017 Anthem and looked all over for "on" switch, am I missing something? I tried both main area and Basement receptacles and neither work! Any suggestions....Thanks

Check the receptacles with a volt meter and see if they have power. If not look for the ground fault plug.

If i remember right the outlet on the passenger side is a gfci outlet that the dirt devil is in series with.

Are you plugged in to shore power when trying to use the DD? I think ours only works on shore power. We never actually use it as we have a Dyson on board.

There is an interlock on the bag cover..make sure it is securely on!!

Should work regardless of shore power if your inverters are on. Definately check GFI. Did not know about the bag cover interlock.

My basement recepticle did not work - was mis-wired from the factory.

Old Realtor trick to check the outlets when clients asked if the central vac worked. Open the outlet cover, you will see 2 pins, touch those with a coin and the vac will come on if it's working. Both of mine did not work at delivery. The top floor no hose connected the plywood was not even cut out., motor ran but no suction. Basement was not wired. Coin trick worked great at PDI.
