Thanks 1mainiac that was going to be tomorrows project. We have not used the MH until now and I would be suprised if something is in the slide track, but that is what it feels like. I have been under the dishwater with a flashlight and can't see any obstructions. If removing the drawer doesn't do it at least we are in Shipshewana to have the dishwasher tech check it out.

1mainiac, I removed the drawer, thank you for the instructions and the slides are fine. However the problem still exists and the washer will not start. The owners manual lists fault codes, but there is not a darn thing on the DW that shows where any fault codes are. If it's a series of beebs, I am dead in the water as I can barly hear them.

Any additional ideas, this one has me stumped.

UPDATE to the fix.

Entegra sent Mr. Appliance out to the MH nd he didn't have a clue to the problem so he called Fisher & Paykel. While he was on hold I cycled the curcit breaker one more time and it worked. Figure that one out.

The problem was the lock switch which is the top of the dishwasher and door seal, much like the air seal on our entry doors, was not releasing. I have recycled the power including unplugging it over a dozen times and why this last time worked I don't have a clue. If in doubt reboot until it works was the answer from Fisher & Paykel.

I had that happen with the door switch on the Whirlpool washer. Tech came out and swapped the switch - tested & it worked fine. After he left - same behavior returned.
