Dishwasher problem
The dishwasher was beeping continuously. I stopped the beeping by pushing the remote button once. However, if I push it again to open the drawer, it start beeping again without stopping unless I push the button again. In other words the only response I get from the button is continuous beeping, or stopping the beeping. We only used the thing two times. Is it already broken, or am I doing something wrong? Thank you for any advice you might have. My model is the one that only works with the remote.

Try shutting off the AC power to the dishwasher. It may reset when you turn it on. Had it happen to me and it worked. Good luck.

Yep...same thing happened to us and we flipped the circuit breaker for 15 minutes to off. Then turned it back on and it was fine.

Thanks, but I was trying to find the circuit breaker for the dishwasher and I cannot find it. There are circuit breakers for everything except the dishwasher. Where is it? is it labeled differently? Thanks.

I think that is the third reboot on the forum today that has solved an electric glitch. WTG

For future reference for those that get the continuous beeping, if it doesn't go away with either (or both) turning off the "kitchen" breaker for 20 minutes, and turning it back on...or by checking the GFI circuit breaker, then it is probably the dishwasher telling you that you have a fault, and the fault can be ID'd by going to the manual and checking which light on the inside is blinking compared to the troubleshooting section of the manual. Then good luck on finding someone "authorized" by Fisher Paykil to fix it!

When we have troubles with the dishwasher the DW will look at me and say "Gordon, quit your whining". It generally works the first time cause I am scared of the boot.
LOL - glad you were able to fix the problems.
