Dock Lights

Hi guys ! Anyone ever upgrade the docking lights to something that’s actually useful on a 2013 Aspire ? I’d love to have something much brighter.

If your 13 has halogen bulbs, the newer ones are LED and much brighter. My 14 had LED's and they were bright.

Very minor trimming needed to fit but HUGE improvement!

I had the $3,800 up charge in a Sept 13 order. Which included all LED lights inside and outside docking lights. Also included larger TV's Sony outside entertainment center, I believe the ceiling fan in the bedroom and a few others. The LED's were a big improvement. I had already ordered LED bulbs for inside, wound up changing my yard lights with them. Notice the LED docking light at the front door on the later 14's. They also pointed along the side starting at the wheels giving a well lit view backing in.

We ordered in July and LED lighting was not offered to us. The ceiling fan wasn't even offered until August which we tried to order but they forgot to add it to the build sheet. Didn't find that out until we picked up the coach.

I was really surprised how much the upcharge included. At first I was ticked that I misted the order date cutoff, but after the coach was delivered it had more than what I was told the upcharge was for. LED lights were never mentioned and I had a box load bulbs waiting for the coach. I did use some of them on the basement and patio lights, but inside and docking lights were all LED.

When one of the docking lights on my '18 Anthem developed a leak which allowed water to collect inside the clear lens, I located these:

that were an exact match for the OEM installed side docking lights.

There is a big difference.... the exact replacements for later model coaches have their "beam" aimed back along the coach sides whereas the first one adapted for dock lighting are much brighter and aimed sideways to the coach side walls and are intended as straight forward aimed lights. Both may work but are very different in design or intention IMO.
