I think that a call to Entegra customer service Monday will answer your question.

Donít buy from the dealer they sell in pairs only for around $267.00 Some may split the set up and cut price in half but itís a 6-8 week lead time waiting on them as they come from China. Look on eBay search part number 69389SS-R or 69389SS-L for around $60. The last letter in part number means left or right side they are the same front and rear. Thereís a small Phillips to remove outter cover then 4 screws in light then it pulls away from the body. You can match part number on back of it.

Thanks Joe.... I'll keep that information on hand in my files.

OH, and I wasn't suggesting that he buy from the dealer..... rather, getting the information from the dealer and then searching for outlets.

Gary, not a problem I knew what you meant but wanted to post the actual part number rather then dealer part number. They donít want you to know manufacturer part number because we can find them direct a lot cheaper. No matter anyoneís input we are all here to help each other. Glad I can help since usually everyoneís helping me here.

Entegra is really good about giving the manufactures name. The really don't care to be sending a part at a time to owners. The would much rather do a large shipment of parts to dealers For a while they stopped selling parts to owners, dealers only. You should not have a problem getting the manufactures name from Entegra. I had that light in the box with the manufactures name that I gave to the new owner of the 14.

Something I have had good luck with in the past is eBay. In this situation, two screws to remove the docking light to find the part number. In eBay put "docking light xxxxxxxxx" and it might come up. Do the same in Google. RV Surplus has a good Google capture, many times parts will show up there, it is a common part used on boats as well. Might do a search here, they have been posted many times.

If the light still works but full of water they are reparable. The gasket are kinked during manufacturing. I used silicone gasket grease, smoothed the seal out and put the light back together. No more water intrusion.

Entegra's parts department may have changed, and it has morphed several times over the past several years, but Chuck is right. Usually you can get the information you need from them, and a few times, their price was as good or less than what I could find it on the internet for. So, I often call them for the part number and price and then price compare.

I think they have been trying to decide if selling parts to owners direct is a profitable situation for them, or a loss of money right now. Not sure. But in the past, they have been a meaningful resource. Worst that they can do is say that they cant give you the number for some reason.

I called entegra direct twice and both times was denied parts and referred to one of their dealers. I assume this is because I am not the original owner possibly. The second denial I did some digging and found the docking light on eBay after searching my part number but had to remove it to get number as the dealer number was different. I can see how entegra does not want to cut the dealers out of the picture and may be a part of the agreement between entegra and dealer. Gary you may be right as well regarding assessing if itís worth the resources selling direct.

In regards to Entegra service, I have had success emailing a picture of the part and my vin. Response within 24 hours Mon-Fri. They have attached the Jayco part number and asked if wanted to order from them. There is a 2-3 week lead time for in stock and 4-6 weeks for out of stock. I was in no hurry and it was a very inexpensive part so I ordered from them, I don't know if they would have provided the manufactures name and part number had I asked. Will try that next time.

Hi Joe,

A couple of weeks ago, I called Entegra parts in pursuit of some marker lights. The rep asked for my VIN, which I gave. Inadvertently, I had given my VIN incorrectly. The rep advised that they were not able to send me the parts because I wasn't the registered owner. I suggested that that was curious since I had previously gotten parts directly from Entegra without going through a dealer. At that point, I rechecked my VIN, discovered my error and provided the correct VIN.

At that point the customer service rep offered me the part number and offered to arrange shipment...BUT...she suggested that the same part was available from Amazon.com at a cheaper price and emailed me the Amazon.com link.

So, might I suggest that you make sure that Entegra's records show you as the registered owner?

Take care,
Stu

Stu, will look into this thank you for the heads up. All my information coincide with the vin number on entegras website when I log in. Do you think that means Iím registered? I know Spartan and Cummins updated me as the owner, do I have to let Allison know as well or anyone else know?

Hi Joe,

I don't know if there's a reconciliation between the EntegraCoach.com website and Entegra customer service databases. Maybe just call the Entegra customer service folks and have a conversation about ownership registration.

Regarding Allison, I'd assume (you know what they say about that) that as installed equipment on a Spartan chassis that as long as Spartan has it right, you should be good.

But, that's just a guess.

Take care,
Stu

I dont believe that there is any direct interaction of the Entegra Owners website and Entegra.

Entegra does provide information to ECOA on new owners and they are added into the ECOA website, but there is no common server for the two.
