Does anyone with an Entegra have a basement outlet for their central vac?

If I have an access point in the basement, I have no idea where it is.

If not, has anyone installed one?

Does it use standard central vac parts or do I have to order parts from Dirt Devil? I can't tell by reading on the Internet.

Thanks.

Robert, the central vac port in my 2014 is behind the basement freezer location, between the two water filters. Hope this helps.

What month was your 44B finished at the factory?

Curt

Thanks.

I have 2 vac ports in the basement. The one mentioned by the filters and one next to the vac motor/filter box.

Thanks everyone for your responses. I do not have a vac port at that location or anywhere that I can see. Must have been an off day at the factory. Now that I know it's supposed to be there (which makes so much sense), I can ask that it be installed.

Thanks!

You should have a basement port on a 14 Anthem. Sounds like a call to Customer Service. It isn't hard to add one. I did it on my 13 Aspire.

My Aspire 44U has a central vac port in the basement near the water filters. However, mine doesn't work and it never has worked.
I took the outlet off the wall to check the connections and someone took a shortcut at the factory and never made the connections. I tried to fix it but to no avail. I'll have to take it to the shop and have them mess with it to get it to work.

I had two ports that did not work at delivery. The main port inside did not have a vac hose running to it and the basement port had no wiring. It does happen at Entegra. I know the basement port was something new after we ordered our coach, but I don't know what month they started installing them.

My basement port was inop on delivery. I discovered a loose wire on the switch to the port door. I'm not a real fan of the wire nuts Entegra uses. I'd prefer crimp connectors or automotive style plugs.

That may make sense. Mine was delivered in August 2013 as an early 2014 build. I have other 2013 carry-over features mixed with 2014 features, for example, ceiling speakers vs sound-bars, single DIN outside radio vs double-din - but I do have a 40 inch TV outside. I will still talk to CS about the vac port. Or install it myself. I know how to do it, as I installed the central vac in my S+B.

Again thanks for all the replies.
