Does your door latch look like this?

This pic is of our entry door lock and latch mechanism. this has been repaired and doesn't look any better than the original from the factory. It is an eye sore, being at eye level we have to look at it everytime the door opens and closes. we have a 2012 Anthem. I do have a call into customer service to see if something can be done to clean up this "irritation". plastic trim pieces that don't fit properly, tan leather that is an unfinished fit, and interior mechanism that keeps pushing out the black plug.

It appears the bottom trim piece is your major complaint, that was cut a bit too long and you need to shave perhaps 1/8 to 1/4 inch off the upper end, then using something like a thin layer of GOOP adheasive press it back into place and tape it (Scotch works well) for an hour or two.

I'm nto wure what that mess is in the lock without seeing it live, but it may just be lubricatant. and cleanable.

the "mess" i refer to is the manufacturing/finish and the unfinished appearance it has. our dealer has tried twice to clean it up, but they couldn't figure it out, of course, they didn't won't to throw a whole lot of money at it.

It looks like Entegra and Newmar buy their doors from the same supplier.
