Dometic cf-50 freezer cooler - does not work

We have been trying to get the Freezer cooler to work. We checked the plugs for power and all is okay where it is plugged in. If you open the box top the light comes on so there is some power to the box. We push the on button nothing happens, Tried the emergency switch nothing happens. Looks like a nice idea but so far nothing. Will check the fuse. But if that were the case I do not think the light would come on. Have you used the freezer/cooler? Do you like it? Any problems? Are we missing something in turning it on? Oh well just checking. Thanks

Here's the manual for the freezer:

Seems to work on 12 v or 120 v. See how yours is connected.

Not sure if this will help, but you must only have one of the power supplies active at a time as there is no way for you to actively switch the power supply. Hopefully that will help. Mine works fine.

Did you press the orange "set" button first, then set the desired temperature?

Hmmm... I'll have to double check mine when I'm back at the coach, but I thought both plugs on mine were plugged in (with 110V available via shore power) the one time I tested it. I'm gonna load it up with adult beverages this week in prep for a trip north starting Friday so I'll test it again.

With both plugs plugged in the default mode is 110v. When 110v is disconnected it automatically switches over to 12V. Works pretty much the same as the Norcold refrigerators did on electric then LP when 110v was unplugged.
