Door lock stem

We all have the little stem that the door lock latch hits when u close door it floats up and down. The piece that screws on the floating shaft is that supposed to be tight on the shaft or loose, I know it is supposed to move up and down freely. I have noticed mine has wear on it mine is tight over the floating shaft or it hits the screen door edge. Where can we buy a replacement, also the latch on the door that engages when in drive to pull the door tight. The round end that slide up and down that's screwed on to the end and the channel or L bracket that holds it. goes into is not very round any more so I would like to buy both pieces L bracket and the round disc that slides up and down in the L channel.

The door latch & striker, if not available from your dealer, may be available here.

Read this article Johnny. I have caught pieces of clothing on that silly striker bolt. This guy machined one without the edges that catch clothing. It has been a few years since I read this, he used to send people the bolt for free. Maybe he charges now.

Max hooked up a whole bunch of us with his "snag-less" bolt at the 2014 IRV2 National Rally in Myrtle Beach. Great guy-even offered to install them, if you wanted.
