Driver & Passenger Seats Not Locking Forward

Getting ready to head out tomorrow and noticed that both the driver and passenger seats will not lock in the forward position. (They just swivel)

Given that it’s happening with both I’m thinking I am having a brain freeze.

Any suggestions?

Have they been removed and re-installed? Could have been installed with the base swiveled the wrong way (I did that, once)

If they will swivel to face the rear, will they lock facing the rear of the coach? If yes, then they need to be reversed.

Your coach seats are probably different than mine, but if that is not the issue, then the latch or mechanism that catches the seat to lock it must be stuck.

Pretty easy to follow the release cable from the lever down to the mechanism. Just extend the footrest out and you can follow the cable to the pawl mechanism, sounds like they may need cleaning/lubrication, probably just gunked up and stuck in the retracted position, allowing the seat to swivel. Poke around under there with a flashlight with the footrest extended, you'll figure it out.
