We drove through Yellowstone from Cody, east to west, pulling our Jeep with our Anthem and did stay at Grizzly (nice park) with no problems. Used our Jeep to tour all over the park. Fun time and just beautiful. I would do it again.

Yellowstone to Jackson

We try to get to the Tetons every year. Colter Bay RV Psrk is great...lots of trees and right by Jackson Lake. Have reservations!

The Wildlife Art Museum just north of Jackson is really nice.

Is the road from Grizzley to Bozeman an easy ride?

Just head west on US-14 to Yellowstone's east entrance. Just prior to entering the park you'll get to Pahaska Teepee, where Buffalo Bill Cody's hunting lodge is located and an interesting stop. There are also grizzly bear and moose in the area.

Once entering the park you'll climb Sylvan Pass (nothing to worry about and come in past Fishing Bridge. At Fishing Bridge you can turn south or north to loop around to get to Madison Junction but I recommends heading north through Hayden Valley up to Canyon, then "over the hump" to Norris and then down to Madison. Once at Madison just head west out of the park to West Yellowstone.

If you head south at Fishing Bridge you'll take the long way around. Time-wise it's a bout the same because you can keep moving but it's not and interesting of a drive. By heading north you will travel less miles but the time will be the same because you are bound to encounter more wildlife so bear jams and bison crossing the road will affect your time.

Actually, any of the roads in Yellowstone are good for any Entegra pulling a toad with the exception of the run between Canyon Village and Tower Junction. That route takes you up over Mount Washburn via Dunraven Pass. Too many blind hairpins and there are always oncoming drivers with small vehicles that are scared stiff of the drop-offs and won't stay in their lane. I've done the Million Dollar Highway and the Beartooth Highway with no problems but the the one section I won't travel with an RV is between Tower and Canyon.
